the man of the century!

This letter was mainly directed to those religious leaders who have the power to do something about segregation but don't. The purpose is to hopefully get the backup from powerful religious leaders and end segregation. He communicates this message very effectively to these men from his examples from Saint Paul and King Solomon which is preached within the churches of these religious leaders. He also justifies his nonviolent action by comparing it to "just" and "unjust" laws with one example of Hitler. King claims there is no better timing for something that has been at conflict for 340 years and that there was no wrong-doing during this "sit-in." Martin Luther King Jr. is asking for the help of the clergymen so they can move forward with Civil Rights. He is very professional and polite at the beginning which helps the audience to really listen to what he has to say. When he really gets his point through is when he gradually gets firmer and firmer throughout the text yet at the same time still being polite. King portrays himself as one of the clergy men, but one that has to overcome the many obstacles of the average African American. He acts as a friend and yet in the middle of the letter he portrays the religious leaders as an enemy that he hopes will reconsider their position on Civil Rights.

easy, breezy, wonderful!!

Solar power is the conversion of sunlight into electricity, either directly using photovaltics (PV), or indirectly using concentrated solar power(CSP). Concentrated solar power systems use lenses or mirrors and tracking systems to focus a large area of sunlight into a small beam. Photovoltaics convert light into electric current using the photoelectric effect.[1]i got this definition from wikipedia. Solar power's most obvious and hyped advantage is its cleanliness. While nonrenewable energy sources like coal, oil and gas are contributing to global climate change and poor air quality, solar power represents a clean, renewable solution to those problems. Solar power is also beneficial to both developed and developed countries, allowing access to clean electricity and clean water for poor and rural residents around the world.Wind power is a very beneficial energy source but is still difficult to use in an urban environment due to the size of wind turbines. Other renewable energy sources simply do not apply to home energy production.

doesnt that just make you want to move?

their are a variety of communities to belong to , however in my community it is not that hard to see who dominates that area. one problem i would say is an issue in my community is race. i stay in east memphis and reality is the first day i moved in they wanted us out. my neighbor had no shame in her game when she approached me with the idea that every hispanic is a maid and most men are construction workers. i had various hate crime incidents with my personal property. for example, they broke into my car and stole my back but not my purse and they neighbor said to me , " doesnt that make you want to move?" could she be any more obvious that my type was not that acceptable there. however that has change over time my neighbors realized me and my husband were two newlyweds getting started. we were not drug dealers or cleaning lady as they protrayed my husband and myself to be. it is 2012 RACE is the last thing that some citizens locally , or globally should be experience. we live in a time where homosexuals are allowed, marijuana is legal in some states. Therefore, RACE should be of the least.
